The final race in the NL.LFS.3 FWD Cup promised to be a close and exciting one, with the first 12 qualifiers withing 8 tenths of a second. And boy, did it deliver. In the end, RDR managed to scoop up 1st and 3rd place in the server 1 main race!
For the standings, this means that q0_TheJag and q0_Bob currently share 2nd place in the drivers' championship, but hold on to the lead for the teams! |

what a race! Can't exactly say that Blackwood is my favourite track, but that opinion changed slightly after the main
My qualification went ok, could/should have been a few tenths quicker, but I kept making mistakes in the third sector. Oh well, the 1:15.770 put me on the 7th spot for the sprint race, that should make an interesting run to T1 in the midfield!
In the end the sprintrace went dramatic. Lost a few places after the start and to make things worse, I flipped the car in the chicane. Damage and a big gap where the results. The race was too short to close the gap so a 9th spot was the final result ...
The advantage of all of this was, because of the reversed grid, I could start from the fourth position. I tried to take it easy through turn 1 and found myself behind André (great run man!), Thomas and Johnny. I had a great fight with the latter. And even though he made a do-or-die action on the backstretch, he also showed great sportmanship by letting me pass again. Eventually I could pass him and André and found myself on top spot, even after the 32 laps!
So my second victory for RDR in NL.LFS! That's really awesome! And with Bob on the third position we did some great business for the team championship!
Congratz to the rest of the team, you guys did very well! |

Great race imo. Some really nice fights with Bob in the feature race, been watching the replay last night and was thoroughly enjoying that Well done on the defending Bob! Was great fun.
Also, congratulations to Michiel for the smooth win in the feature race and to the whole RDR team for the neat results so far. Good luck in the second half of the league |
